meet Dr. Dwight Howard - ALBUQUERQUE, NM

Dr. Dwight Howard attended Baylor College of Dentistry in 1974 and has been practicing dentistry ever since. Dr. Dwight Howard is originally from Amarillo, Texas and came to our great state on a tennis scholarship to play for UNM where he graduated with a bachelor’s in biology and chemistry.

Dr. Howard has worked in private practice for over 50 years and decided to join the Precision Dental Team as Dr. Howard truly loves his profession and wants to continue to provide exceptional dental care with an exceptional dental team. Dr Howard continues to support the profession of dentistry as a dental examiner for the CDCA (Commission on Dental Competency Assessments) and WREB (Western Regional Examining Board). He has also been a member of The American Dental Association for his entire career.

Dr. Howard has lived in N.M. since 1974 with his beautiful wife and two children. Dr. Howard says he’s a very proud father and grandfather and loves to spoil his grandchildren. Dr. Howard loves our community and has served on three boards of directors: The Boys Club, The Tennis Club of ABQ, and The UNM Alumnae Letterman’s Association. So not only does he provide exceptional dental care, he continues to give back to the community he loves so much.
